SKIT Writing Lab ages 14-Adult

This SKIT class introduces students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have either an interest or passion for writing ways to apply proven Improvisational Theater techniques to their work. The student will learn the techniques that have helped people develop excellent writing and storytelling skills all over the globe for decades. These skills are taught and perfected using a SKIT curriculum in a safe, fun filled, positive environment without judgement. Students are free to explore their creative side and collaborate with their fellow writers to help develop skills that will increase confidence in their writing ability. This workshop will also allow for the students to see their work performed live or on film by their peers and local actors.
